Please note, that when you transfer a local world to a server, the host player will lose their character progress. This is because the dedicated server itself will assume the role of the host character. As a result, we highly recommend the host character places as many items or Pals into storage as possible before transferring world files.

Uploading your current world to our service is useful when migrating server hosting providers. The game is still in Early Access and many users have reported some issues with migrating their save data, however using this procedure should work in most cases:

  1. Run the server for the first time just to generate everything.

  2. Find the SaveGames folder in your original server. The SaveGames folder is usually located at /Pal/Saved/SaveGames.

  3. Find the Folder named as a long string of numbers and letters, such as "59A8D9114A1DB6CB075DA59C1078E4161." inside SaveGames/0.

  4. Find the GameUserSettings.ini file on both the CloudNord and your original server. This file is usually located at /Pal/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/GameUserSettings.in.

  5. Edit the DedicatedServerName entry in this file from the one it generated on the CloudNord server to the old servers name.

Start your server and play :)
